All versions of InterBase and Firebird

by IBSurgeon Research labs, research@ib-aid.com

Below you can find the list of all public versions of InterBase and Firebird (for Windows and all other systems build numbers are the same). For some versions it was unable to determine the exact version number (if you accidentally can help please feel free to contact us research@ib-aid.com)

There are no versions and builds in this list which were in beta-testing only. Despite that fact more than half of listed versions are unstable and not recommended for using. The most stable versions among the major series are marked bold. Please be aware there are no versions of InterBase 6.0.x are considered as stable.

To determine the version of your InterBase or Firebird server on Windows you can right-click on file ibserver.exe, or ibremote.exe (fbserver.exe or fb_inet_server.exe for Firebird with versions 1.5+) which you can find in Bin directory of your installation. To determine the version of versions for other operation systems (Unix, Linux, MacOs, etc) you may use switch -Z in you command line tools (for example, run gfix -z). Please note that version of gds32.dll and command-line tools (gbak.exe, gfix.exe, etc) can be different from version of main server executable.
